• Decommissioning of Legacy EVMS Blackboard LMS – April 30, 2026 (Friday, March 13, 2026)
  

  As the final step in the transition to the Canvas learning management system, the legacy EVMS Blackboard LMS will be permanently decommissioned on April 30, 2026. All courses that were requested for migration have been successfully transferred to Canvas, and you have already been using them over the current and past two semesters. 

  If you believe there is additional course content, files, or data stored in Blackboard that you may need for future reference, please make sure to download it before April 30, 2026. After this date, the system will be shut down and access will no longer be available. 

  If you have any questions or need assistance accessing your migrated courses in Canvas or retrieving materials from Blackboard, please contact the Help Desk at ithelpdesk@odu.edu.
